Ingredients
1 pkg
Smokin’ BBQ Sauce Mix
1 12 cups
ketchup
1 cup
unsweetened apple sauce
1 cup
water

Preparation
  1. In a Multipurpose Pot, combine mix, ketchup, apple sauce, and water.  
  2. Partially cover; over medium heat, cook sauce 15 min for flavours to blend. Stir often.  
  3. Liberally brush sauce on grilled meat near the end of cooking. Refrigerate sauce up to 1 week. 
Tips

Make a wet rub! Simply combine mix with 14 cup oil and 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar. Massage to coat 2 lbs (900 g) boneless, skinless chicken or pork. Let stand for 10 min, then grill.
